Aleksandra Kaminska is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication at the Université de Montréal, where she co-directs the Artefact Lab in media studies, and the Bricolab, a space for making. She has published in journals such as Theory, Culture and Society, Convergence, and the Canadian Journal of Communication. Among current projects she is working on a monograph titled High-Tech Paper: Security Printing and the Aesthetics of Trust.
Juliette De Maeyer is Associate Professor at the Department of Communication at the Université de Montréal. She studies the intersection of media and technology, with a particular interest for the materiality of journalism. Her work has been published in scholarly journals such as Communication Theory, New Media and Society, Journalism: Theory, Practice and Criticism, as well as in The Atlantic and ks,the Nieman Lab.
